2024 Domaine Leflaive Mâcon-Verzé
Leflaive's Macon-Verze has been one of the much-loved top values from a typically very price-demanding producer, and we have a limited amount of the 2024 today at this great price! It is a fantastic wine made to the same standard as any wine bearing the Leflaive name, and it is a fantastic value. Since 2004, these 9 hectares of vines have been farmed biodynamically by the Leflaive team and are divided into five plots, some of which, like Les Chene, are bottled separately, which started in 2016. This offer, however, is just for the standard Macon-Verze blend that Leflaive produces. Harvest is entirely manual, and pressing takes place at a Verze facility purchased simultaneously with the vines. The musts are transported to the home base in Puligny-Montrachet, where vinification is then completed with the full Leflaive treatment. Domaine Leflaive's Macon-Verze is a very pure and energetic wine with beautiful floral and mineral nuances and is one of the top buys from the region. 2024 should be another lovely vintage, with the potential to be a top example from Macon-Verze.
