2025 Domaine de Marquiliani Corse Le rosé de Pauline

2025 Domaine de Marquiliani Corse Le rosé de Pauline

A recent arrival and one of our favorite Rosés outside of Bandol, Marquiliani's Rosés are exceptional and among the best examples in the world. This is an annual Rose offer for us, and the 2025 has just been released, coming from the village of Aghione on the island of Corsica. Marquiliani is based in a 200-year-old winery that was burned down and abandoned until the Amalric family (current owners) revitalized the Domaine, planting a few indigenous Italian varietals only really seen in Corsica. All the vines used for these two cuvees were initially planted in 1964 and are still in use today.  These are among the best at this price point, and over the past couple of years, they have become increasingly allocated. The 2025s are going to be a fantastic vintage for these wines, and we have a limited amount of each that just arrived in stock at our same great prices, perfect for the warmer temps on the horizon!

Pauline Rose is a blend of mostly Sciaccarellu (50%), an indigenous varietal, 40% Syrah, and 10% Vermentino. The Syrah for this Cuvee is from select parcels and undergoes a slow fermentation with a blocked malolactic fermentation, with surprising complexity. A Bit darker, more structured, and richer of the two.
